LiftHUB Xpress ("we", "our", or "LiftClub") operates the LiftHUB Xpress driver and passenger mobile applications and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our apps and website.

- Account information: Name, email, phone number, profile photo, and (for drivers) vehicle and licence details.
- Location data: Real-time location when the app is in use (e.g. to show nearby rides, navigate, and share trip progress with the other party).
- Trip and usage data: Pick-up and drop-off addresses, trip history, ratings, and in-app messages.
- Device and app data: Device type, OS version, app version, and identifiers used for push notifications (e.g. FCM or Huawei HMS tokens).
- Payment-related data: Payment method details are processed by our payment providers; we may store transaction references and fare information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our ride-booking and driver services.
- Match passengers with drivers and show live location during trips.
- Process payments and prevent fraud.
- Send you trip updates, receipts, and important service messages via push notifications.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Sharing of Information
We may share information:
- Between users: Passengers and drivers see limited trip-related information (e.g. name, location during trip, rating) as needed for the ride.
- With service providers: Such as cloud hosting (e.g. Firebase), maps, push services (Google FCM / Huawei HMS), and payment processors, under strict confidentiality.
- When required by law: To authorities when we are legally obliged to do so.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.
4. Data Storage and Security
Data is stored on secure servers (including Firebase and associated infrastructure). We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. Location and other sensitive data are only retained as long as necessary for the service and legal requirements.
5. Your Rights
You may:
- Access and update your profile in the app.
- Request a copy of your data or request deletion of your account (e.g. via the in-app account management or the link on our website).
- Withdraw consent where we rely on it (e.g. location), subject to our ability to continue providing the service.

6. Third-Party Services
Our apps use:
- Google (Firebase, Maps, FCM) – see Google's privacy policy.
- Huawei (HMS Push, Location) on compatible devices – see Huawei's privacy policy.
- Payment providers – their own privacy policies apply to payment data they process.
7. Children
Our services are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and we will notify you of material changes via the app or email where appropriate.
